Welcome to the Board Games @ Central LibGuide! This guide provides information about the board game collection at the St. Louis Public Library's Central Branch.

Feudal

From the Librarian: Feudal is a strategic board game where players command armies of knights, archers, and footmen to conquer enemy castles or eliminate their royalty. You might like it if you enjoy challenging and engaging tactical gameplay.

From the Publisher Feudal combines military strategy with chess-like   moves in an exciting war game set in the Middle Ages. This medieval   period comes alive as the armies of two feudal lords class in hand-to-   hand combat and attempt to lay siege to each other's castle in an effort   to regain long disputed land. Military maneuvers must strategically   planned as each army attempts to capture the enemy's castle. Each   army's attempt to thwart the enemy may be aided or impaired by the   rough and mountainous terrain of the country. Occasionally, answering   the call of chivalry, the lords declare a truce during which prisoners are   exchanged. After each truce, the pitched battle resumes until one army is victorious.
